As a writer for the Miami Daily News, the Owatonna People's Press and Polka News, I've written editorials about economic, social and political events that affect Polka music.

Some of these articles may seem to be a bit off the mark, such as, Yes, There is a Santa Claus.  But, when you think about them, you'll find a relationship.  For example, I've always felt that Christmas and Polka music were intertwined.  And, when you consider that Charles Dickens in the climax of Christmas Carol made the main character, Ebenezar Scrooge say, "Let's all be merry.  Let's dance a Polka!"  Perhaps, Dickens saw the relationship, too.
