EMAIL A POLKA TO A FRIEND

Would you like to email a Polka or a Polka picture to a friend in Netscape?  If so, you should create two new folders which you'll label Pictures and Music.  Here's how,

  1. Go to your Desktop,
  2. Click on My Computer
  3. Click C
  4. Click File
  5. Click New Folder.  Label it Music.
  6. Click File again.
  7. Click New Folder.  Label it Pictures
Now, begin collecting Polka songs and Polka pictures from the Internet.  You can do this by going to a cool web site that has music, pictures or both.  Some Polka Web sites have pictures of festivals they've recently attended.  You might even be on the picture.
 
  1. Put you cursor over the picture you like
  2. Right Click
  3. Click Save Image As
  4. Click C
  5. Click the Pictures folder.  You now have a cool picture in your Picture folder.
Follow the same procedure for songs that play when you click them,
  1.  Put your cursor on the song,
  2. Right click
  3. Click Save Link As
  4. Click C
  5. Click Music folder.  And, your song will now be in that folder.
You now have 2 folders bulging with songs and pictures to send a friend.  Here's how,
  1. Open an email page and write a note or a letter to a friend.
  2. Address it as usual.
  3. Click Attach
  4. Click File
  5. Click C
  6. Click Music or Picture folder
  7. Click the song or picture you want to send.
  8. Click Sends
Your letter and happy, snappy Polka Attachment will delight your Polka lovin' friend.
Unless the Polka song is really catchy, send MIDI instead of .wav  They're faster to load.
From time to time, delete files in your folders to increase disk space.
You may even want to create a Desktop short cut for easy managment of these files.
